点评：we were advised to come early b4 our scheduled appt because it 'May" rain. we did and they sent us out. our seat was not adjusted property nor was our foot pegs. as soon as we got into Lake Huron, above us was black clouds, the wind picked up and we couldnt even paddle. we made it to a private shore and barely got our kayaks pulled on onto shore. then stood there wondering how we were going to get back safely. They need to have someone out there watching kayakers for safety reasons. what are 2 girls suppose to do. after an hour we tried to push each other back out into the water and still was not able to paddle. after an hour or struggling we turned around. we saw white caps ahead and decided it wasnt safe for us. another group of 4 young men past us and said the white caps were bad at turnip rock and that they struggled to make it out of the beach area there.
that was my experience. On the way back to the kayak rental the water ended up being real calm and we paddled back easily in 45 minutes. easy peasy. but the 2 hour struggle was a nightmare.
