Dragan and Penny are masters of their craft and I feel very lucky and privileged to have had the opportunity to learn from them.
As soon as we stepped through the door we were warmly welcomed Into their home and teaching space.
Fresh out of the oven hazelnut biscuits and a nice cup of tea or coffee to start with was offered.
Throughout the day we were supported and guided to learn the skill of making different sourdough’s (white, baguette, rye & seeded) also crackers/crisps which was an added bonus as they are delicious!!! Lots and lots of knowledge and breads to take home with us. I also came away feeling very proud of myself and wanting to make more and more.
We had a delicious lunch of focaccia made by Penny during the demonstration aspect of the days learnings.
If you want to learn how to make sourdough breads then I can’t recommend the artisan sourdough and rye day session enough as it was just perfect. The whole day went so fast.
