点评：As a local Egyptian archaeologist, leading my group through the Temple of Edfu is always a privilege. Dedicated to the falcon god Horus, this is one of Egypt's best-preserved ancient structures, making it the perfect living classroom.
Standing before the towering, massive pylon, I was able to bring the intricate reliefs to life for the group, explaining the grand mythical battle between Horus and Seth. Walking them through the colossal courtyard and into the dramatic, dimly lit hypostyle halls, we explored the temple's intact roof and the famous laboratory room, where ancient perfume and incense recipes are carved right into the stone walls. Seeing my guests marvel at the sheer scale and remarkable preservation of Ptolemaic architecture—and sharing the deep historical context behind every shadow—made this particular tour incredibly rewarding.
