点评:Amazing view from the top. The platform has a 360 degree view of almost all of East Timor. We did it in November, there was lots of fog and thunderstorms in the distance but we got above the cloud layer and despite there being no sun this added to the beauty and ambience of the place. The warm greeting from Saint Mary was welcome, though it didn't quite shake the cold at sunrise. Track is good in most parts with places to rest and even has street lights frequently all the way up owing to the yearly pilgrimage and religious ceremonies. Get a ride from Hato Builico to the start of the hike to save you a few kms of very steep road, from there it was 8km return with about 750m of elevation by my Garmin watch. We had a guide for $20usd, it really wasn't necessary and he didn't speak English, but it's good to support the locals. The 18km of unsealed roads are terrible to Hato Builico from the turnoff outside Maubisse, but we got there and back in an AWD Terios unscathed.
