点评:You enter the beautiful, modern building that houses the Center for Information and Education with high expectations for the light exhibition. The staff at the information desk were very friendly, but the process of scanning the tickets we had purchased in advance was a bit cumbersome. Soon a young woman with a positive aura arrived and guided our randomly assembled group of 20 people of all ages. She did a very good job and successfully tried to actively integrate the visitors, even if it sometimes had the negative feeling of a problematic school lesson, with the visitors being classified as the ignorant ones.
Unfortunately, on most days you can only visit the museum on a guided tour, which we personally found very unfortunate.
After a short stay in the modern building, we went down to the damp cellar of a former brewery. Although modern stairs and railings had been installed here and there, most of the rooms in the cellar had not been renovated. The plaster was peeling off the walls and they were covered with dark stains.
The exhibited light objects were not really convincing, so that one gets the impression that the museum's designation as a center for international light art is a bit pompous. More sophisticated objects can be seen in many modern museums around the world, which have nicely designed and maintained interiors and are accessible for the disabled.
Considering the rather high entrance fee, a visit to the museum is not necessarily recommended for visitors who have to travel a long way.
