Scammed out of a 30$ Deposit by the company of tour guide Omar.

点评：For lack of a better opportunity, I am hereby reviewing the tour guide Omar and/or his colleague Rita Masinde that are continuously mentioned in the reviews of this park.
Unfortunately we were not as lucky as the other people. We tried to book a tour with him and checked the swell and weather beforehand because it was quite windy and the waves were high. He told us not to worry and that two days from the time we booked, the weather will be alright and we could go out. Trusting his expertise we decided to pay the deposit for the tour. On the day of the tour itself, one hour before our scheduled pick up, we were informed that the tour is canceled and we cannot got out today because of the weather. When we told him that we cannot reschedule, because we are leaving Watamu the day after, he tried to - as we understood it - put us on another boat. To which we said no, because the weather was still horrible. Long story short: After that, both parties decided not to answer our calls or massages ever again and we lost our 30 US-Dollar deposit due to the weather & dishonest communication. We understand that people are trying to make a living but this left us with a bad taste in our mouth and we wouldn‘t recommend choosing Omar.
