点评：Baltit Fort or The Upper Fort is located in Karimabad city. It's at the elevation of 2700 meters. It was the residence of Hunza kings. It remains residence till
1945. After that, the fort was restored by Prince Aga Khan, and became a tourist attraction. Fort has many rooms including wheat and corn stores. It has secret meeting room with a storage hole for gold, guard room and royal kitchen with huge spoons. The doors are very short for security reasons. We saw many nice dresses, swords and others. The upper floor has a great view to Rakaposhi mountain. A tree of Prophet Mohammed's PBUH family and generation till 49th generation Karim Aga Khan who passed away few days ago. The fort guide Mr. Ijazullah is very informative. We had a great time visiting Baltit Fort. At the end, we took few pictures with a canon which is located near the entrance, and met one guard with a big moustache. Entrance fees is 1500 PKR for tourists and 500 for locals.
