点评:This is an interesting one. The place could certainly do with a huge tidy up. First impressions - the smaller reptiles that are kept indoors appeared to be in good health and not stressed. We were delighted to have been able to hold a very chill bobtail lizard -they had so many! - and there were a few pythons also available for a hold.
There was a small room filled with taxidermied animals, random artefacts and a sizeable shell collection. It was unusual but some of the displays were certainly interesting.
Once we stepped outside , we saw peacocks, an eagle, five small crocodiles whose ponds looked stagnant or at least in need of a good top-up of fresh water, and a few different birds, including an emu. It was a very warm day so quite a few of the enclosures were empty -my guess is they were hiding from the heat - but the grounds are generally a little ramshackle. Empty spa baths, an empty swimming pool, and random antiques added to a general sense of neglect.
I am not sure I would recommend a visit unless you are curious and just want to handle some bobtail lizards and pythons. The cost for us was $20 per adult and $8 per child.
