The Malvern Spa的点评
点评：First impressions matter and unfortunately the receptionist was unwelcoming which was unnerving.
The spa itself was good it was great to relax in a warm pool and be able to swim outside in the winter.
I do feel there are too many people to lounger ratio as the day goes by especially 4 pm in our case.
The highlight was Emily who made my first massage comfortable and at ease.
The biggest let down was the restaurant service we had lunch,dinner and breakfast. unfortunately the service was poor.
The evening meal a couple who sat down after us were served first and preferential treatment was noticed with the waiter given free bottled water and olives to the table next to us and saying don’t tell anybody this is our secret(we did hear your secret).
Plates were left on our table and empty drinks were not removed until we left even though we had numerous drinks.
This also happened at breakfast where I had to remove the plates and cups myself .
I had to ask for the free mocktails to be removed from my bill and also charged for a pint of soda we never had.(why give mocktails vouchers)
The room was mediocre and could possibly do with an uplift and refurbishment although adequate for the stay.
I will also say being given robes with holes in does not give a great impression especially for nearly costing £400 for 1 night.
I do want to share the positives but the negatives outweigh and with some needed attention to detail and a little money spent to to touch up the tired areas.
this spa could be the best around by a mile as the hydro pool and massage were a solid 8/10.
I did make my complaint know on check out and hope the next time I visit my pointers will be looked at and acknowledged.
