点评:On a recent trip to visit Niagara Falls Canada I thought it would be nice to spend a day or so checking out the NY side of the falls. The Rainbow Bridge is an easy and scenic way to view both sides. Regardless of which direction your going, the bridge lets you out in very touristy areas, both sides have convenient and affordable public transit to see the area (on the Canadian side you can do the WeGo bus to all Niagara Falls attractions - on the Ny side, there is a little trolley you can get tickets to right there when you enter the US, to take you all around the falls).
The view from the bridge is really nice. We walked over to NY on a Wed morning late Aug, with no wait whatsoever to enter the US. Came back to Canada about 5pm, and wound up in a 45 min line to get back in. Would definitely recommend doing your trip early morning based on ours.
I researched this thoroughly before we went and thought everyone was saying it cost $1 both ways - was surprised to find we only had to pay when entering the bridge from the Canadian side. On the NY side I didn't see anything, just the metal turnstiles to enter the bridge.
We had no issues with border crossing on either side.
