点评：Tucked inside the main campus of Mayo Clinic, the Plummer Historic Suite is truly a hidden gem that many visitors likely overlook. From the moment you approach the Plummer Building, the architecture alone is stunning—classic, elegant, and full of character that immediately sets it apart from the surrounding campus.
But what really makes this experience special is the history. The suite offers a fascinating glimpse into the early days of Mayo, and you can feel the legacy in every detail. It’s quiet, reflective, and a refreshing change of pace if you’re spending long days moving between appointments.
If you find yourself at Mayo with even a small window of time, this is absolutely worth the visit.
We heard there’s an upstairs parlor that’s supposed to be just as beautiful—if not more so—but it requires keyed access, so unfortunately we weren’t able to see it. Still, what’s accessible alone makes it well worth the stop.
