点评：Amazing! rent a lighthouse now! - this was an unexpected gem, a remote location, an apartment on the side of the lighthouse, very well presented inside, clean and tidy and an ideal getaway. We rented the upstairs apartlment flat (down stairs allows pets and so we though we'd have upstairs as no pets with us and slightly better views) - the two bedrooms each have two single beds, there's one bathroom with tub, shower, wc, sink. The kitchen is very well set out, pots, pans, cutlerly, glassed, cups....the only slight niggle was the frying pans were somewhat warped (I imagine the previous occupants over heated them) - but that really was the only minor niggle. Sheets and towels are supplied.
There aren't any shops very close by so do go prepared with food, drinks, bin bags.
There is an LCD tv with some digital freeview channels and internet, but it's slow, very slow by today's standards (1mbps was the speed test) but enough to surf the web but don't expect much if sharing with a few others in the flat.
For the techies out there, Vodafone gave me some usable 4G signals and gave me faster internet than the BT broadband provided in the flat, while EE just about scraped in with 1 or 2 bars and a hint of data... no idea about O2 or Three.
Overall we were totally blow away with how good this was, beautiful location, well insulated, warm and surprisngly quiet.. Lots of sheep and lambs when we went, few walkers out on the nearby hills but otherwise lovely and remote.
