A place with archaeological and religious importance worth a visit.

点评：A place of arceological and religious importance. I visited with my wife and a friend. The place needs to be treated as a religious place and shoes should be taken off at the temple, at the bottom of the hill.
We went from the Phoolbagh chauraha side and parked on roadside (Lion Clubs park). The climb is not bad but if your fitness is not great, do plan some rests in between.
The caretakers will not allow any water bottles to be carried up with you! (on our return, we almost forgot to collect the water bottle back).
The jain teerthankrs statues are mesmerising and the architectural beauty is intricate and exquisite. The 'ek patthar ki Baoli' (a Step well carved out of one rock) is on the left of 1st cave, and worth peeping into through the metal barricade.
Each cave has its unique architecture. The central cave statue is still worshiped by jain munis.
Lots of wild life to be appreciated, including parrots, peacocks, mynahs. We spotted a vulture's best on the ledge above one cave and loads of beehives.
Caution: wear respectable clothes ( no shorts or sporting gear as you will be challenged. They are sceptic about young copies visiting for some reason and very weary of groups of young people coming and spoiling the sanctity of this place.
