点评：Wine Festival…. ?! Of course the weather was not good but honestly this event was awful. Sat in a warehouse type barn, listening to a DJ playing Frankie Goes to Hollywood and paying a lot of money for very mediocre wine and a cheeseboard. We had paid £15 each for this pleasure, no one even checked the tickets. I think they need to learn a bit about hospitality; surely one complimentary glass of wine and a few crisps on the damp tables wouldn’t have hurt this rather posh vineyard. There was nothing there that could possibly be described as a festival other than a few portaloos! The young band that came on were very good so hats off to them but still not a festival.
Just back from an event on the field at Mistley Rugby Club. Pram race, children’s games, dog show, bars, hog roast, fish and chips and a brilliant band playing for two hours and no entry fee. Now that’s what I call a festival.
