Fantastic Crossing on the King Seaways

点评：We recently sailed on the DFDS King Seaways from Newcastle and had a brilliant experience overall. The ship might be one of the older vessels in the fleet, but it’s beautifully maintained and clearly well cared for. Everything feels clean, safe, and freshly updated while still holding that classic North Sea charm.
The cabins are basic yet comfortable, with everything you need for a good night’s rest. Despite a bit of rough weather, we still slept soundly and woke up refreshed. The entertainment on board was fantastic – lively music, friendly staff, and a great atmosphere throughout the night.
Food and drinks are on the expensive side, but the quality makes up for the price – fresh, well-presented meals and plenty of choice for all tastes.
All in all, it was a smooth, enjoyable crossing with excellent service, great entertainment, and that unique feeling you only get when sailing from Newcastle. Old ship? Maybe. But it’s a credit to DFDS and the crew who keep her running to such a high standard.
