Just the usual tourist souvenirs, not an artisan's market!

点评：Don't be fooled by the name. This is not a market for artisans. This is your usual South and Central American or Asian tourist market. Keychains for a dollar, T-shirts, tote bags etc. etc. they say that everything is manufactured in Costa Rica but I would doubt that.
Dozens of stalls of the same usual tourist stuff. Be careful when you're trying to bargain because they are experts at it and you are not. keep track of what you were buying on your own piece of paper or on your phone. In our case, they sold us an extra T-shirt than we had wanted. The vendor also inserted my credit card into the portable card reader but I stopped that, I told the vendor to cancel and I used the tap feature. Don't let anyone take your credit card and insert it.
There is a small, local artisans store nearbye that features pottery, baskets and ceramics from a native tribe in southeastern Costa Rica. It is called Chieton Moren Museo y Mercandito. I found the quality of the ceramics not up to par for a retail store but the prices are reasonable.
