East Lambrook Manor Gardens的点评
点评：East Lambrook Manor was a picture on a warm sunny day, we enjoyed our visit and were advised to return in February for the show of Snowdrops. The Galanthaphiles flock there, apparently. We live close enough to return. We spoke to a number of volunteers who engaged us knowledgeably. The atmosphere was perfect and a coach load of French visitors were enjoying the tables chairs, picnic spaces and cafe.
We loved the nursery and the lady who managed it was a delight; almost all the stock is propagated there from seed, division, cuttings etc.
The cafe had a tasty variety of cakes and the toilets were first class.
Our friends had bought the tickets online which appears to have been a mistake as none of this money goes to the estate. Odd, but that’s what we were told. When we return to see the Galanthus we’ll pay at the door.
If we had a minor criticism it would be the need for better plant labelling.
