点评：Booked as a birthday treat as done a few other simulators, but never realised there was an amazing flat bed sim in Shoreham just minutes down the road.
£190 for a 1 hour experience and 2 flights.
Had a very warm welcome at reception, then met Fozzi! What a guy. Gave us a tour of the planes in his hanger before we even got to sim.
Gave me a brief of 2 sorties, one to learn flying the Lancaster and then a Dambusters run.
After his console briefing I proper thought I'd bitten off too much!!
He gave a a comprehensive overview not only of the Lancaster but history also.
By the time I took off for the first time I'd had a genuine flying lesson.
First sortie was a fly around Bristol to grasp all the controls.
Second sortie was a Dambusters run. Wow!!
Fozzi constantly informs you what you're doing, what you should be doing and where you're going and educating all the time which is amazing.
I was lucky to have 2 hours at the controls as Fozzi kept making fly over the dams and you can see that he has an amazing passion for the sim and what he does.
I had possibly one of the best sim experiences ever.....and I now have the upmost respect for any pilot or individual that ever got into a Lancaster.
I felt the after effect the following day and to think these men did these run for 7 hours is incomprehensible.
I got a lovely certificate on completion, and then discovered there is a Spitfire sim pending......sign me up!!!!!!
This was an incredible experience on my doorstep, but more than just flying....it was education, thank you
