点评:Visited here with the main reason of Mrs C hoping to find information about her Grandad who was a PT instructor on Ganges in the 20's, the volunteers were all really knowledgeable and eager to help her.
While she researched I had a good look round the museum, there are countless exhibits and photos and if you had been on Ganges it would be a real treasure trove of memories for them, but the highlight for me was the videos of the button boy ceremonies which I remember on the TV in the 60's, the courage of the lad who goes to the top is amazing, also had the film of John Noakes doing it (ex Blue Peter presenter for those too young to know).
We both enjoyed our visit for different reasons and were happy to leave a donation (it's free entry) and bought a couple of keepsakes.
