Six Rivers Rafting的点评
点评：We did the multi-day rafting trip on the Upper Trinity River with fantastic guides Raven, Kevin and Aiden. We spent two nights camping along the river and three full days rafting. Raven is a very special person who deeply understands the river and she provided a safe, educational, and fun experience for our family of four. One of my favorite moments was when she taught us a beautiful river song, which all of us managed to perform together as a round as we floated down the river. Raven's younger brother Aiden also joined us on what I believe was one of his first guiding trips! He was able to really connect with our boys and it was really fun to hear stories about how he and Raven grew up. We even serendipitously ran into their grandmother who was out enjoying the river on her own one day! Our guide Kevin definitely made an impression on our boys with his cliff jumping, hilarious stories, age-appropriate crass jokes and all around wilderness expertise. He is an amazing guide and fun and kind human being.
The food was incredible, including many homemade elements (like the salsa pictured below). Absolutely everything was taken care of for us, and the email communication beforehand was also super seamless. We highly recommend this trip for anyone seeking adventure! Our kids were able to loosen up and get used to bugs and dirt etc.
I wanted to mention the toilet situation in case anyone is curious: upon setting up camp, the guides find a private area away from the tents to build a little makeshift bathroom using a plastic toilet in which the plastic waste bag gets changed periodically. They handle everything, thankfully, but I have to say I couldn't quite get used to this :) I'm probably a little too fancy for that aspect of river rafting...but I'm going to try to get used to it because the rest is SO MUCH FUN.

如果有人好奇，我想提一下厕所的情况：扎营后，导游会找一个远离帐篷的私人区域，用一个塑料马桶搭建一个临时小厕所，里面的塑料垃圾袋会定期更换。谢天谢地，他们把所有事情都搞定了，但我得说，我还没完全适应这个:) 我可能有点太喜欢漂流的这个方面了……但我会努力适应的，因为剩下的部分真的太好玩了。
