点评:This traditional Kuwaiti house was built in 1936 by the head of an affluent family, Youssef Al Marzouk. Today, the buiding continues its cultural role of introducing and preserving the weaving heritage. Free to enter. Located inside is a small museum where you can learn more about the Bedouin weaving heritage of Kuwait. There is a shop that sells some quality handicrafts and various other items. Jumo Coffee Roasters are also located inside and there is a nice place to sit in the courtyard if you fancy a coffee and a break. I went on a Sunday and it was busy. I am not sure if this is always the case but there was like a bazaar on with vendors selling a range of items from paintings to bags, clothing and more. I enjoyed browsing. Nice atmosphere. The museum is very small but informative. Information is in English as well. Lovely. Walking inside the house was like being transported back in time to another era. Very relaxing. Highly recommend. Located right next to Kuwait National Museum.
