Nice course, members not bothered about guests
St Melyd Golf Club的点评
点评：A friendly start, but a very strange round that left me disappointed.
I visited St Melyd Golf Course recently and was greeted warmly in the pro shop, although the £30 green fee felt a little steep given the overall course condition. The greens could do with a trim, and parts of the course were noticeably dry.
Unfortunately, the round took a bizarre turn. As I approached the 2nd green, a member decided to skip the first two holes and jump straight in front of me. By the time I reached the 3rd fairway, he’d vanished — only to reappear and play my ball from the middle of the fairway. He looked like he was in some sort of fancy dress or a red rugby top, and the whole situation was genuinely odd.
What surprised me most was the member didn't seemed bothered about a guest. It really took away from what could have been an enjoyable round on a course that otherwise has plenty of potential.
