A Well Worth It Fishing Experience

点评：Loving to fish, my husband wanted to find a lake to fish with our 9 year old grandson in the Poconos, when we vacation there. Big Brown Fish & Pay Lakes fit the bill. When we arrived, we were greeted by Mandy, who was very patient and happy to answer all our questions about the ponds, fish, fees, what is allowed and not allowed.
I was pleasantly surprised by the serene and beautiful location. It is a total contrast from the road above, Route 115. There are some picnic tables. There are 2 trout ponds and 1 largemouth bass pond. The ponds are stocked and you will catch fish. We had Mandy clean and filet the fish. We watched in amazement and Mandy showed our grandson a fish's heart, still beating. That was something we never had seen before. Mandy was great.
When it was all said and done, a memory was created, which was worth the price paid and it was still cheaper than a fish dinner at a restaurant. It was a fun time for all.
We cooked the fish the same day. It was excellent. We will be back.
