点评：Atlas and Sahara Tours is fantastic! We had a six day tour in the Western High Atlas mountains including ascent of Toubkal. Over and above the trek, Mustapha organised accommodation at his fantastic riad in Imlil, Riad Jnane Imlil, and in Marrakech, Riad Zayane Atlas, and all transfers. He just made it all so easy.
The trek was the absolute highlight. Omar, our guide, was warm, funny and generally lovely. He was also very effective in encouraging us up (steep) mountain and down (steep) dale. Over six days, we walked 170,000 steps, 119 km or 74 miles and ascended 4762 metres or 15,623 feet. We were at the summit of Toubkal for sunrise. Unforgettable.
We were fuelled throughout by Idris, our cook's superb cooking, three meals a day, conjured up over a camp fire somehow, several courses, fresh fruit and vegetables. All absolutely delicious. And plenty of mint, green, camomile and verbena tea.
If you can, stay a night or two in Imlil in the lovely Riad Jnane Imlil after your trek. We had a much needed rest there in a really sumptuous room. The food at the riad was especially excellent. Imlil is delightful and the hammam at the riad is a big bonus.
Mustapha was very much responsible and available for any questions and planning of details, via Whatsapp. We completely recommend him and Atlas and Sahara Tours. We are planning our return for a Sahara trek as soon as possible.
