Amazing accommodation, poor food

点评：The impact of this resort hotel/country lodge when you arrive is quite something. Very impressive.
Lovely rooms good size clean and comfortable.
Lovely bar in the main building which is elevated, providing beautiful views as is the stunning view from the restaurant.
The food was of a buffet style which I am rarely a fan of. This one was not great, catering for large tables of groups, but not enough choice. Breakfast was very disappointing thank goodness the chef was still available to make omelettes! We arrived at breakfast an hour before it finished and all the so called hot buffet options looked like they had been there from the start staff were sparse at this time.
Big thanks to Baillie our guide who gave us a fantastic sunset drive to track the desert elephants which we were so fortunate to see, a small herd of 4, a celebratory and welcome sundowner drink with snacks and a bonus of seeing giraffes on the return to the lodge.
