点评:This is a Drive Through review of the Bamberton Provincial Park, British Columbia.
The Good:
There is a large provincial campsite up the hill from the beach,
Large camping spots with lots of separation,
Typical “pit” toilets throughout the campsite,
The beach is beautiful and an amazing place to spent the day,
There are washroom facilities at the beach and outside, rinse off showers
Incredible views of the Gulf Islands
The Bad:
Typical provincial park with no services like sewer/water/power
Any grocery needs or shopping is a bit of a drive
The walk from the campsite to the beach is about a full kilometre of downhill hike,
Conclusion:
I had heard through the years about the town of Bamberton and the provincial campsite there,
Now I understand there is actually “no” town called Bamberton, it seems to have ceased to exist and the only thing that remains is the campsite,
That said, it is a typical provincial campsite, well setup and maintained, with no services but very beautiful, the biggest problem is the 1km hike to the beach and back,
I would rate this campsite a 6/10 mainly because of the hike to the beach and lack of services and close by amenities. Check out the video….

优点:
海滩上山处有一个大型的省级露营地;
露营点宽敞,且彼此分隔;
整个露营地都设有典型的“坑式”厕所;
海滩风景优美,是度过美好一天的绝佳去处;
海滩内外均设有洗手间和淋浴设施;
海湾群岛的壮丽景色令人叹为观止;
缺点:
典型的省级公园,没有污水/水/电等服务;
购买杂货或购物需要开车一段时间;
从露营地步行到海滩大约需要下坡行走一公里;
结论:
多年来我一直听说过班伯顿镇和那里的省级露营地;
现在我明白了,实际上根本没有一个叫班伯顿的镇,它似乎已经不复存在,唯一剩下的就是露营地;
话虽如此,这是一个典型的省级露营地,设施齐全,维护良好,没有服务设施,但非常漂亮;最大的问题是往返海滩需要徒步1公里;
我会给它评分露营地评分6/10,主要是因为去海滩需要徒步,而且附近服务和便利设施不足。看看视频……
