点评：Best experience ever, all thanks to our guide Irene
We were travelling Thailand for a few months and my partner had organised the cooking class with Zabb E Lee.
The driver picked us up on time and we went straight to the local market.
Our tour guide was a Lovely lady called Irene. She talked us through all the different ingredients we would be using and why we use them. This was extremely interesting and I felt I gained some really valuable info.
Then we moved on to the cooking school.
This place was unbelievable. The cooking school itself is a small paradise.
The setting is held on a large plot of land which feels like you’re cooking in the middle of the jungle.
If you’re into your social media posting then it’s worth booking a slot just for the photos you’ll get.
The kitchen is set in a wonderfully crafted wooden structure. Everything is super clean and prepared ready for the class.
Our chef Irene had the most amazing energy. She had drinks ready for us on arrival and had some really good music too. Honestly I feel like Irene had made this whole experience 10x more fun with her bubbly personality. She walked us through each stage, showing us how to prepare the ingredients and then setting us on our way to prepare them ourselves.
We made several dishes and everything came out tasting incredible.
We really felt we were in good hands. At the end of the session she sent us all the photos she had taken. So me and my partner have some amazing memories of the evening. We received a free digital cookbook with all the recipes we made but we also bought the physical copy as something to take home with us.
For us this is a must do when visiting Chiang Mai. You don’t just make food.
You go on a journey learning how to make amazing recipes which you can do when you get home to. And the surroundings are incredible.
