点评:We really enjoyed walking along the railway path on a cool March afternoon. It was Saturday so there were locals walking with their kids, retirees playing card games on their numerous hang out spots. The path goes through some residential areas which offers a glimpse into their lifestyle.
There’s also slight variations on how the path is presented - sometimes tiled or wooden or with a running track; sometimes narrower or with benches. It might not be grand or an obvious choice to visit as a tourist but that’s partly the reason to do so. It’s charming in its own way.
I didn’t see much info online so I ended up missing the last part of the path (unfortunately that’s the part with the tunnel). If you want to walk through the whole thing I recommend going to a pedestrian overpass near Jinbang Park. I encircled it in my photo. I don’t know where the path ends on the map though. We entered through the Botanical Garden West entrance (Huyuan Road). From there to Jinbang Park, that’s probably two thirds of the path. I also put pink dashes in the photo to trace the path. Hope it’s helpful
