点评：Beautiful place shame about the traffic congestion.
We had a wonderful half day trip to Amber Mountain with Madagascar Meva Tours.
Picked up at the cruise port at 7am after locating Orlando & our vehicle waiting outside the port gates.
Orlando & our driver Briss were excellent. Briss could spot a chameleon whilst driving along the road , would then stop & show us close up. Amazing. And that was on the way to the national park.
Once inside the park the traffic congestion got worse & worse. All 4x4s converging on same limited parking facilities . Reminded us of wacky races.
There is one primitive toilet at the national park registration office where all drivers have to sign in.
Once starting our walkd inside the park it felt very peaceful & tranquil. Very impressed with Orlando's knowledge & ability to find the most camouflaged of creatures .
Saw beautiful waterfalls, giant centipedes, a variety of chameleons large & small. Learned a lot
Unfortunately we didn't see any lemurs but they were there.
The carpark at the pickup point was crazy with cars parked at all angles
Enjoyed a lovely lunch in beautiful gardens at joffeville .
Saw a few more sights on the way back to the port in plenty of time for sailaway
