点评：Very disappointing experience – not suitable for families with younger children
We visited the water park expecting a fun family day out, but unfortunately it was a very disappointing experience, particularly given the price we paid.
Our children are both four years old, and the majority of the rides have a 42-inch height requirement. We didn’t think this would be a on issue as we had done the theme park the previous day and had no issues with the 42-inch height marker!
Despite both children reaching the 42-inch height marker, we found the enforcement of the height restrictions to be extremely inconsistent. Some lifeguards allowed our son to go on a slide when he was measured at 42 inches, while others refused to allow him - on one occasion this related to the same ride later in the day, despite him having already been on it earlier. This inconsistency was incredibly frustrating and confusing.
Our daughter had an even more disappointing experience. Although she reached the red 42-inch height marker, she was deemed to be just short of the required height and therefore wasn’t allowed on the 42-inch rides. We should highlight we were told this after waiting 1 hour for the ride.
Given that children and adults pay the same admission price, it is extremely disappointing that she was effectively left with very little to do and subsequently we were unable to fully experience the day as an adult was then also unable to go on the slides due to needing to stay with our little girl.
We were told that she could use the children’s splash park instead, but even that had a 42-inch height restriction on its slide. This meant the only area she could really use was the baby splash pad, which was clearly designed for pre-walking children and was extremely busy, you could hardly move. It was completely unsuitable for a four-year-old.
The park was also extremely busy. The average wait for the slides was around an hour, there was a queue simply to enter the wave pool, and there was a long wait for the lazy river because there were so few floating rings available. When we eventually managed to get rings and enter the lazy river, it was anything but relaxing. Due to the shortage of rings, numerous adults and children were walking through the lazy river, making the experience chaotic rather than enjoyable.
Overall, we felt that the combination of the high admission price, long queues, overcrowding, inconsistent enforcement of height restrictions and lack of suitable activities for our four-year-olds made this a very disappointing day.
We would strongly not recommend this water park for families with younger children, particularly those around the 42-inch height threshold. Based on our experience, there simply wasn’t enough for our children to do to justify the cost of admission.
We raised our grievance on the day with management and guest services and despite been assured this would be dealt with by the end of the day, we are still waiting for communication 48hours later …
