点评：One of the best nights out I’ve ever had in my life. This really feels like you’ve been transported to the 1900’s. Most of the bars here don’t even open until 8pm, so that says a lot already. The bars are TINY, usually only having 6-10 seats. Most have 2 or 3 floors so don’t be put off if a bar looks full, chances are there will be space upstairs. Most bars have a unique theme. Here were some of my favourites - bar champion (karaoke bar), bar cinema club (best atmosphere, people, vibes), bar albatross (best drinks). I’d recommend walking throughout the six streets of Golden Gai doing a bar crawl, hitting at least 5 or 6 bars. Just stroll around and pop into any place that catches your eye. There’s an abundance to choose from. I will say, some bars do have cover fees. They’re usually about ¥500-¥800 (£2.50-£4) so not expensive at all, but if you are going to a few different bars that all have cover fees this can add up. Don’t let this put you off, a lot of bars don’t charge an entry fee, it’s probably about a 50/50 split, so only pay if you really like the look of a place.
