Amazing trip with gorgeous views

点评：I looked at several options for seeing as much of Alaska as possible in a limited time. I kept coming back to Alaska Adventure Unlimited 10-day Grand Discovery Tour. I was not disappointed. We hiked, rafted, and kayaked. We saw moose, caribou, grizzly and black bear, eagles, and whales. The views were incredible every day. We had three different days for a chance to see Denali without cloud cover. The first two days we couldn't even tell where the mountain was. The third day there was full visibility!
The van was comfortable and made frequent stops on the one or two days we had more than an hour or two of travel. Our guide, Dwight, was fantastic - knowledgeable, accommodating, flexible - a great host and an overall nice guy. He made our trip comfortable and stress-free.
While I enjoyed the active parts of the trip, you can definitely modify or choose other options. There was free time in Denali and Seward to spend as you please and, of course, the trip offers a few different options as well.
The accommodations were excellent. One bed and breakfast was directly on Lake Lucille and had kayaks, fishing poles and bikes to borrow. We were there for two nights and were out on the lake both evenings well into the night since it was still light out. Other guests were up early kayaking before we left for the day's adventure.
I would recommend this trip wholeheartedly and count you as fortunate if Dwight was your guide.
