点评：I travel into many different places, never seen anything like that, that's why I felt, I have to write what I saw, maybe at least one person will change their travel plan.
The whole experience so far is bad. Amount of rubbish and dead birds on the beach is alarming!!
Town full of rubbish and cigarette butts- it's awful!
People at the hotel said that's because it's not the season yet???!! (May 2025) In high season will be clean!🥴 I don't understand how people can live in this mess? is so many stray cats around, skinny and dirty. Everyone is trying to get money of you. Market in Mahdia looked like second hand clothes dumped on the tables, people rummaged through piles of clothes and the amount of rubbish around, disgusting. My husband went on the quad bike experience, he told me that they keep a single monkey in a cage in the middle of nowhere!! This country is so far behind Europe. If I would know what is going on in here, I would never come over. This country is good for people without empathy.
I didn't expect such a bad mentality. Hotel is ok, can't expect more for the price but the rest of the experience is really bad. My advice is, if you want to spend a £1000 on holiday, go somewhere else, more civilised countries. I don't have pictures of town, I was afraid to take any. The only pictures are taken when I went on the beach near the hotel. Please don't support them, they need to change eventually!
