点评：You simply can’t go to Morocco and not visit this UNESCO world heritage site. It’s about 3 hours from Marrakesh.
We stopped off her on our way to the Sahara Desert, it really was amazing to see, pictures do no justice.
There are 2 entrances one entrance you are required to pay a small fee and the other is free.
I highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes, it was easy walking around the ksar in 47 degrees of heat but we wouldn’t have missed it, numerous movies and series like game of thrones and gladiator have been made here. The gladiator gate still remains. We stayed opposite the ksar at Dar Mouna hotel, we had the most stunning views.
We took advantage of staying up late to see the stars, from afar you can see Moroccos largest solar tower, you hear many dogs at night too, we were told stray dogs are taken out of the main cities like Marrakesh and Fes and left in places like Ait Ben Haddou.,
There are a couple of cafes in the ksar, perfect for pictures, I recommend going to the one that’s higher up.
Overall Ait Ben Haddou is beautiful and I’m extremely happy we chose to stay overnight instead of visiting for a couple of hours.
