点评：The Lion and Safari Park is an excellent tourist destination for newcomers to South Africa and those who wish to experience a drive through the wild side of the country and see some of the animals in this nature reserve. The weather was amazing so taking photos was an absolute joy. We used our own car and all we did was to follow the trails as the signs indicated. The park is extremely safe and very well organized. When you pay the entrance fee, you are given an information booklet which is excellent in identifying the animals, birds etc. As you drive through the park, I advise you be as quiet as possible as to not to alarm the animals.
The whole natural environment is beautiful, very green and lush. It was so exciting to see the animals in their natural habitats, roaming around. We managed to see lions, a male lion mating with female lions, a cheetah, buffalo, zebras, lots of deer/buck, and in the endangered species section, we saw some of the animals as described in the booklet given to us. There is also the reptile park, and the bird park as well, you can take a leisurely walk through this park, it's very serene and restful.
At the endangered species section, there is a beautiful area where you can have a picnic, would be wonderful to take a picnic basket along, and to have some snacks and drinks before you move on. There are also toilets (restrooms) at the section as well. Or you may want to eat at the restaurant.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone who would like a taste of an African safari. It's most enjoyable and worth the few hours spent in the park.
