Keswick Canoe and Bushcraft的点评
点评：I "Canoed the View" and it was amazing! We got lucky with the weather (sunshine, not very windy). Great views, lots of learning about the islands and lake, and friendly and knowledgable instructor.
We stopped at three different islands, which allowed us to stretch our legs and rest our arms a bit (and have a cup of tea). Pete, the instructor, had so much knowledge and interesting facts and stories to share about each one. He spoke about their history and the local plant and animal life, as well as some bushcraft tips.
I was the only customer, so I got all of the instructor's time! Pete was very patient and helpful when teaching me the basics of canoeing, also helping me land on and launch from the shores. When the water became more choppy than expected (and I was struggling against the ripples), the instructor got into my canoe to help and get us back to the starting point. This saved me a lot of struggle.
The views throughout the trip were awesome - beautiful mountains all around - and I got some great shots of the canoes by the water!
I would absolutely recommend this to anyone staying near Keswick!
