点评：Arrived, but no signs of how to proceed to reception, found a door and meet with the owners. Interesting rooms, we had a four poster bed, which was comfy. There were tea/coffee facilities and a kettle, couldn’t quite work out where to plug in kettle, in the end a socket by the fireplace on the floor was used! Other sockets were “hidden” almost under the bed! The bathroom for our room was across the corridor and key used to unlock it. Shower was cold, wasn’t sure if there was a main unit to enable the power to heat it up. Along the hallway towards the stairs were light switches, ok in daylight, not so good in finding them in the dark, good old phone torch came to the rescue. The bar downstairs was rather expensive, even for a cola, thank goodness we didn’t order wine, a single glass would be as much as a normal shop priced bottle! Whilst the menu was varied, it was quite costly, even a fish and chip meal was about £25, chicken meal similar price. The games room was a bit dark, not good lighting, the pool table was not set correctly, the balls tended to run down end! Attempts with bits of card were unsuccessful, as others had tried previously. Apparently to view certain parts of the grounds there was a surcharge, so gave it a miss.
翻译：到达后，却找不到去前台的路，只好找到一扇门，见到了老板。房间很有意思，我们住的是一张四柱床，很舒服。房间里有茶/咖啡冲泡设施和烧水壶，但一时找不到烧水壶的插座，最后用了壁炉旁边地板上的一个插座！其他插座都“藏”在床底下！房间的浴室在走廊对面，需要用钥匙才能打开。淋浴是冷水，不知道有没有总电源可以加热。走廊通往楼梯的路上有灯开关，白天还好，晚上就很难找到了，幸好有手机手电筒帮忙。楼下的酒吧价格相当贵，即使是一杯可乐也要25英镑左右，幸好我们没点酒，一杯酒的价格就相当于一瓶普通葡萄酒的价格了！虽然菜单种类丰富，但价格也相当高，一份炸鱼薯条套餐就要25英镑左右，鸡肉套餐的价格也差不多。游戏室有点暗，照明不好，台球桌摆放也不对，球总是滚到边线！我试着用纸牌练习，但没成功，之前其他人也试过。据说参观某些区域还要额外收费，所以我就没去。
