Not Quite What We Expected!

点评：We were excited to visit Júzcar after seeing colourful photos online, and the kids were looking forward to exploring the famous “Smurf Village.” Unfortunately, when we arrived, it wasn’t quite what we imagined.
Many of the houses have lost their bright blue colour, and some have even been painted back to white. We spoke to a local resident who explained that due to copyright restrictions, the village can no longer officially use the “Smurf Village” name, and all Smurf figures and decorations have been removed.
Without the themed characters and with limited activities available, the children quickly lost interest. We enjoyed a quick drink in the village but spent far more time driving there than exploring.
It’s still a pretty village in a lovely setting, but if you’re going mainly for the Smurf theme, be aware that it’s no longer part of the experience.
