点评:Me and my partner got the ferry over twice while in Dubrovnik. It was €30 per adult, €10 per student ticket (pretty good value). The boat journey was really lovely although there were a lot of people so I’d recommend being there early to make sure you get a seat. It was really frequent both to the island and back so you don’t need to wait long for another.
The island has really lovely nature trails and you can choose to walk longer or shorter ones. There are maps of the island showing where you are and everything is signposted so you don’t get lost. There is are some great views over Dubrovnik and the Adriatic Sea if you climb up to the fort on the island.
The highlight was the Dead Sea. It’s a lovely little place to swim on the island, a sun trap with calm water. You can relax on the flat rocks beside the water and I saw some people cliff jumping there too if that interests you. Around the edge of the island there are also plenty of places to swim in the sea (although they seemed a bit more choppy) and showers are available.
They have some restaurants there too, although we didn’t try them as they seemed a bit pricy.
Peacocks roam free on the island, a bit quirky but they seemed harmless.
There is also an old monastery to visit there and a bit of history if that’s more your thing.
