A+++ Staff, Beautiful Park
Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area的点评
点评：We had the BEST time camping and wheeling this past weekend at Barnwell Mountain Recreation Area, and I will be telling everyone to put this park on their radar. It was way less crowded than other off-road parks, and the crowd that was there were all completely respectful and everyone stayed in their lane. The trails were a blast, well maintained, and clearly marked. But the main purpose of this review is to brag on ownership and the service they gave us all weekend.
First, we had this trip planned a month ago but I got really sick and couldn't make it. We were really nervous about rescheduling/canceling...but there was no reason to worry, because they let us change the date of our trip and actually gave us a refund of the price difference because we could only book a smaller cabin for the new dates (which I honestly didn't expect, I was just thankful we could reschedule at all! Some places don't let you!) So that was already the first win before we even made it there!
Second, the cabin was so cute and clean, it was perfect for what we needed. At the end of our first day on the trails my husband went to take a shower but realized the hot water heater wasn't working (and it was in the low 30's that night too so there was no sucking it up!). He called the office around 8pm and they apologized and said they would send someone out first thing in the morning to check it out. No biggie, they had other showers by the other campsites. Well right as I was finishing breakfast the next morning, someone from the main office came by to check it out. It was perfect timing, because we headed out on the trails right after he got there. By the time we came back it was completely fixed and we had glorious hot water!
Later that day, a different staff member pulled up next to our cabin to make sure we had hot water and again apologized for the inconvenience. We were not upset at all and told her we really appreciated how fast they got it taken care of and it was no biggie for us, but she made sure we understood it wasn't okay and how sorry they were. Again, we just appreciate their kindness and the quick response. It ended up being just fine!
Well the rest of the trip went as planned, and I was reminiscing on my pictures this morning back at home when I saw an email from Paypal with a partial refund come through with a note from Sherry that apologized yet again for the hot water inconvenience. Y'all!! I am blown away. Maybe we are just easy going campers but we were totally not expecting all of this. We were just happy it was fixed so quickly, but their repetitive kindness and assurance was the sweetest surprise. I've never stayed anywhere that had staff that cared so much. This just certified a complete and total gold star rating for us forever and I will recommend this park to everyone because of it!
