Good, diversed and wet trekking
El Choro Trail的点评
点评：Really diverse trail with lots of different campsites. We did it in beggining of April '23 and all bridges were fine, two of them I would call sketchy, but nothing to worry about. Also I would recommend skipping on day 2 Bella Vista #1 camping since there is no shelter, and try to camp on another 2 campsites a little further (there's not many space, 2-3 tents so be sure you're in front of others).
Suprisingly we were the only foreigners on trail with ~40 Bolivians going on with sneakers and school backpacks on this 3day quite wet and slippery trek.
Landscape-wise it's really great trekking, you get to experience a bit of high mountains, cloud forests, Iceland-like valleys and jungle without mosquitos. Unfortunately there was not many animals on trail, greatest diversity was within plants, lichens and butterflies, which all were abundant. I was little disappointed with amount of birds, I saw and heard around 10 species.
