Wow. Just wow. I spent a rare weekend off in St Francis Bay looking for proper deep sea fishing R&R, and St. Francis Safaris delivered in every possible way. This is not just a fishing trip. It is a beautifully run, deeply professional adventure led by people who genuinely know the ocean, the craft and how to look after their guests.
The fishing itself was outstanding. Well chosen grounds, great equipment and a crew who know exactly when to push and when to let the moment breathe. Being out on the water with close friends made it even better. Relaxed, unforced and full of laughter. No ego, no rush, just a shared sense that you are exactly where you should be.
The service was impeccable throughout. Thoughtful, attentive and warm whilst totally professional. We even enjoyed evening platters of freshly prepared sushi made from the fish we had just caught, taken straight to a specialist chef. It does not get fresher or more memorable than that.
St. Francis Safaris have more experience than anyone I have encountered in the adventure safari world. If you are booking, ask for Tim Christy, the owner. Talk to him about deep sea fishing, cruises, whale watching and the many other superb options they offer.
This is five star, gold standard stuff. Unreservedly recommended.
