Howick Hall Gardens & Arboretum的点评
点评：What a wonderful afternoon we spent at Howick Hall. We didn't really know what to expect but were delighted with our visit. The hall is a beautiful building and the visitor information and formal rooms were well set out and really interesting.
The gardens were a treat for anyone interested in horticulture. Shrubs and trees were carefully labelled and it was great to see new areas being planted, especially all the shade loving plants in the woodland area.
There was something interesting to look at around every corner. We thought the sensory garden was very special and loved seeing the frogs and newts in the pond.
The church was beautiful and very stimulating with lovely touches to encourage people to feel involved and prayer cards and bookmarks to take away...how thoughtful.
We finished our visit with delicious cake and scones in the tearoom which was a comfortable and welcoming place to sit.
We have been visiting this part of Northumberland for many years and can't believe we haven't been to Howick Hall before. It is a real gem and well worth a visit. We will definitely return.
