Awful experience male staff member at the entrance

点评：Unfortunately on Wednesday morning March 25th we 2 fit females in our fifties) had a poor experience on trying to enter the park. We were asked by the man attendant to show the soles of our runners ( On clouds and ASICS) and told we were not permitted to enter as our footwear was not appropriate. This would have been acceptable had others been stopped with similar footwear …. This was not the case. We watched as other tourists entered the park , no problem admitting any man who went down or couple the majority in runners. I did ask initially if it was due to our age !!
My friend went down to the entrance point some time later when a lady wearing the exact same ASICS runners was permitted. The man screamed at her and lost his cool completely , leaving her upset. Ageism and sexism at its best. We have no problem following rules but this was plain discrimination .
