点评：Our 11-day Driftwood Vagabond tour of Ireland gave us a wonderful taste of this incredible country. We traveled around the entire island and experienced such a wonderful variety of history, culture, scenery, music, food, and, most importantly, people.
One of the things I loved most was how much we learned along the way. We saw historic structures dating back to around 500 BC, medieval castles, and castles from the 1800s. We learned about the potato famine and the Troubles and gained a much deeper understanding of Ireland and its people. This wasn’t just a sightseeing trip—it was an opportunity to truly learn about the country.
Our guide, Brendan, was absolutely amazing. He went above and beyond every day to teach us about Ireland, share its history and stories, and make sure we got the most out of every experience. His knowledge, enthusiasm, and genuine care for our group made a huge difference in the trip.
There were so many memorable experiences. The music in the pubs was incredible, and we even had the opportunity to see a demonstration of Riverdance. We experienced a sheepdog demonstration, and we went inside a 200-year-old cottage where we learned what life was like for people living in Ireland two centuries ago. Every day seemed to bring something new and fascinating.
The food was amazing, too, but the best part of the trip was the people. The small-group, intimate environment made it easy to get to know everyone and share these experiences together. We arrived as strangers, but we left as friends—and Brendan played a huge part in helping create that sense of camaraderie within our group.
If you are looking for a trip that allows you to see Ireland, experience its culture, understand its history, and connect with its people, I highly recommend the 11-day Driftwood Vagabond tour. It was an unforgettable experience, and we came home with wonderful memories, new friendships, and a much deeper appreciation for Ireland.
