点评:One of Portugal's finest natural parks. It's a gem, and if you like nature walks or hiking, this is the spot for you. There are multiple trails on either side of the Serra that are worth exploring, and towns along the way that are accessible either by car or by foot. Make sure you stick to the main trails or roads, usually marked by signposts (mostly Pequeno Rota red-yellow color).
Fair-warning: because of the relative remoteness of this area, somewhat low foot-traffic, and exposure to the elements, the signposts or trail-markings aren't always very evident. You'll need to have a good feel for the ground beneath you, a keen sense of your surroundings, and deploy some common sense to duck in and out of the brush in some areas. Additionally, in the summer be very careful as brush fires can be common.
