Quiet, peaceful and relaxing beach location with magnificent views

点评：Kalyvaki Beach is a fantastic beach that combines natural beauty, convenience, and a relaxed atmosphere. The water is a striking turquoise colour and exceptionally clear, while the soft sandy shoreline makes it comfortable for spending several hours by the sea.
What makes this beach particularly appealing is how shallow the water remains. You can walk a surprisingly long distance from shore before it becomes deeper than waist height, making it a great choice for families with children as well as couples and groups looking for a safe and enjoyable swimming spot.
Facilities are excellent, with sunbeds, public showers, parking, and a couple of tavernas within easy reach. After a refreshing swim, we enjoyed lunch and a beer overlooking the water, which added to the laid back Greek beach experience.
The backdrop of dramatic mountains and rugged Cretan scenery gives the beach a unique character and creates some spectacular views in every direction. We left feeling refreshed and thoroughly impressed, and the scenic drive away from the beach was the perfect end to the visit.
Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area and looking for a beautiful beach with calm waters, great amenities, and unforgettable scenery.
