Moving Staging with Incredible Value – A Must-Do in Yerevan!

点评：On September 10, 2026, we had the pleasure of experiencing Puccini’s Madama Butterfly during our trip to Yerevan. Coming from Denmark and the USA, it was a truly memorable highlight of our vacation.
The production was emotionally gripping. Under conductor Mihran Aghajanyan’s precise direction, the orchestra brought Puccini’s beautiful score to life. Silva Petrosyan was deeply moving as Cio-Cio-San, with Hovhannes Andreasyan (Pinkerton) and Greta Bagiyan (Suzuki) completing a captivating cast.
The historic opera house is beautiful and atmospheric. One constructive suggestion would be to enhance the hall’s acoustics and sound projection so the exceptional talent on stage can be experienced even more fully.
The value is extraordinary—we paid less than $30 USD for two tickets. We strongly recommend booking in advance, especially from abroad.
With what seemed to be a large international audience, expanded surtitles—including Italian and/or additional languages alongside the local text—could make the experience even more accessible to visitors.
