ORDINARY CHURCH BUT VIEWS THAT ARE NOT TO BE MISSED

点评：This church sits high in the hills above Verona city centre and is constructed in yellow stone. It's made up of 3 circular blocks that all get smaller in size as you look to its peak. It's a modern building with stairs leading up to the first section which has medium sized arches. The middle section is similar to the bottom section but the arched design is solid and not open. The top section has small windows and a steeple to its peak complete with a small gold cross. Inside it's very modern so it doesn't possess the charm associated with many churches in Verona. It's walls are adorned with lovely carvings, and the basic altar has a window directly behind it that is positioned so you can see the white stone statue of Mary in its garden outside. You can then walk around to see the statue which is a beautiful piece of work. Whilst the church is very ordinary, the same cannot be said about the fantastic views you get of the city. It's definitely worth travelling up here to see them as it doesn't cost you anything apart from a bus ticket. You can see Verona's majestic rooftops, its lovely river and all the main tourist attractions in the distance that make up this beautiful city. Not to be missed!
