Stayed in the newly built “Distillers House” and it was brilliant. Well finished and beautifully appointed. The thought that has gone into the finishes touches, made our stay perfect. Another couple we were travelling in was in one of the Workers Cottages and they looked awesome too.
The views from the cottage over the dam are beautiful, and it’s so peaceful and quiet.
The onsite tavern was brilliant as well, so too were the chef’s pantry and cellar door. Jeannie that did our wine tasting sessions was so friendly and knowledgeable. The staff in Pendergast’s Irish Tavern were also warm & welcoming and the service was outstanding.
We were also lucky to have met the owners Miranda and Joe, who were absolutely lovely and you can see how passionate they are about their work and making visitors and guests feel part of the village.
They’re in the process of building a new restaurant and function centre and will become a stunning venue for weddings and events. We’ll definitely be back for a visit, once this area is open.
